Dressing up, a lot or just enough. Knowing what to wear when we don’t know what the occasion calls for requires versatility, mixing and matching, dressed up in a way that appears effortless. Think less – fewer accessories, but just the right ones. Nice shoes, but in a neutral hue that doesn’t ‘perfectly’ match, yet still works.

Below you will find many items on sale, and significantly so. I have indicated the percentage, as some designer brands have steeply reduced prices worth checking out. I also included a pair of Warby Parker frames, a style that caught my eye (pun intended) when I stepped into their brick-and-mortar this past weekend, and loved how the wide size looked in this particular frame. They come in different colors and three sizes, if that is what you are looking for (okay, enough with the puns 🙃).

And one of the best accessories to invest in for dependable, effortless style is radiant skin, so below, I have also included the latest skincare item I have been using (since September) and am loving. I have updated the post/episode that details my entire skincare routine here, including this new addition, along with the new lip balm I now use, and where to shop to save money on both.

And, yep! Books are included with each outfit, and two will be released in 2026, and I cannot wait for them to be available. Perhaps you, too, will want to preorder them – Francophiles and gardeners get ready to try to resist. ☺️

Let’s go shopping!

  1. Shannon,
The BLISS drape blouse is so very elegant! Goodness gracious, it’s a lovely piece. Thank you for sharing it. The line is new to me.
Deb Gustafson-long time subscriber, listener, follower of yours. Keep ALL the good inspiration coming our way. You make life more beautiful for us all.
    Thank you.

    1. Thank you Deb for sharing what caught your eye. ☺️ isn’t the price nice? Good savings out there; hopefully saving TSLL readers time in finding some of the items worth welcoming into our wardrobes. 😌

Thank you for your kind words 💛

  2. Recently I came to the realization that leaving my space without readers is not a recipe for success. Is this a stage we all go through when it comes to vision? I took your suggestion for the Warby Parker pair (I chose the greenish hue) and look forward to making my current pair a permanent part of the glove compartment.

    1. They are a stylish pair. I think you will like them. Very light (weight). I think we each have our own journey with sight. Honoring what you need and now adding some style is always fun. 🙂

  3. I love a good pun. Thanks for the smiles Shannon. The flutter dress is so beautiful. I could imagine wearing it to theatre, a nice dinner, a special event….gotta go shopping! 🙂

    1. Ah, thanks Katrina! You’re very kind to say. 🙂 And great ideas for where to don that dress. It’s weight allows it to hang nicely while also providing some warmth even though the arms are bare – perfect for indoors during winter. Have a great weekend. Always lovely to see you stop by. 🙂

  4. I just love the drape sleeve blouse with the wide leg trouser, très chic! Thank you for the inspiration, as always!
